Super star Upendra and famous Telugu actor Ali flagged off the new Kannada film ‘Anarkali’ at a specially erected set behind the Prasad Recording studio in Kanteerava studios on Monday night.

Sadhu Kokila is scoring the music and directing the film. Rakesh Kumar Jain is the debutant producer. It was a team effort of 40 persons for the variety of launch via a song of yesteryears Hindi film ‘Anarkali’ on Monday night. This particular song in which Diganth, Pragna and Ramya Barna took part was captured for the film. After this song bit shooting the film was flagged off.

For the muhurut shot superstar Upendra switched on the camera while Telugu actor Ali sounded the clap board. The Kannada film ‘Anarkali’ will be shot in Belur, Halebeedu and Hampi. There will be Russian Ballet in this film. Actress Pragna has taken special training for performing in Russian ballet.

Producer Rakesh Kumar Jain after this film is up to another big project with Upendra informed Sadhu Kokila.
