‘Bengaloored’ ready

The English film ‘Bengaloored’ by Kannada speaking Swaroop Kanchi as director, story, screenplay, dialogue writer, and editor of the film is ready. Swaroop Kanchi is also co producer of the film with Pradeep Raj who is partner to Atria Hotel in Bangalore. This digital camera film ‘Bengaloored’ of two hours duration focus on the changing times of Bangalore city with lead artists Harish Raj and Meghana Mudiyan. The film is now at the DI stage has six songs in which five are Hindi songs and one is a Kannada song – all of them come in the background says music director Vasu Dixit.

Swaroop Kanchi seeing at the changes in Bangalore from last 10 years has scripted the story. It is about a young author who returns to Bangalore after 10 years to find an end to his book. To rediscover the city of his childhood & to seek the comforts of home above all to find love the Protagonist Babruvahana comes from France. He finds that his ancestral house is in frenzy and on the verge of being demolished, his father has remarried after his mother’s death, his best friend is now a monk. The whole life in Bangalore the protagonist sees as technology driven and he sees the concrete jungle in the famous Garden City. The only respite is that he meets the love of his life from school and they get along like a house on fire, but will she heal his wounds?

Swaroop Kanchi (who made films like Acid, Taxiwallah, Hongkong Dreaming in the past) with Guruprasad as cameraman has shot the film in Majestic, Malleswara, MG Road and other localities of Bangalore. Actor Harish Raj plays the role of Babruvahana who comes from France to his home town to complete his unfinished book ‘New Path White Clouds’ in the film is excited about the role because he is acting in an English film. Meghana the Los Angeles girl staying in Bangalore in the last two years has the role that immaculately suits her. Srinivasaprabhu, Laxmi Chandrasekhar, RT Kumar, Suma Vinod and Prakash are also in the cast.

Music director Vasu Dixit (brother of music director and singer Raghu Dixit) disclosed that it was so cool for him to score the music for six songs that come in the background. He has sung the song Ellogli Shivane Naa Neene Helayya.. Joel Dubba, Ritisha Padmanabhan are the other singers in this English film ‘Bengaloored’.

For the cultural, economic, industrial, commercial and sentimental phase transformation in Bangalore this English film by Swaroop Kanchi ‘Bengaloored’ is curious to watch.
