The Malayalam hit flick, "Cocktail" is being remade in Tamil and the news says that the star of the film is going to be Radhika Apte who caught the eye of Kollywood with her performance in Prakash Raj's "Dhoni".
"The original had Jayasurya, Samvrutha Sunil, Fahad Fazil and Anoop Menon in the lead, and was directed by Arun Kumar. The film is an edgy thriller, and was critically acclaimed in Mollywood. A production house has acquired the Tamil and Telugu remake rights of the film. While Radhika, who will soon be seen in Vetri Selvan, and Randhir have been roped in for the Tamil version, hunt for the actors to star in Telugu version is on. The Tamil film will be directed by a debutant, and the rest of the cast and crew will be finalised soon. The film is likely to go on the floors by February." says sources.
