With his cult compositions "DK Bose" and "Switty Switty" grabbing the top slot in the chartbusters, Ram Sampath became a brand in himself overnight. Thanks to the hit 'Delhi Belly', the composer now has been snapped up for Balaji and iRock's co-production, 'Rock The Shaadi', starring Abhay Deol and Genelia D'Souza in lead.

Sampath, who has been offered to score for a host of films since 'Delhi Belly', is said to have taken up 'Rock The Shaadi', as he loved the funky plot of the film and wanted to work with the banners associated with the film.

The film's music is said to be an assortment of club-friendly, funky and folk, for which Ekta Kapoor and director Navdeep Singh thought Sampath would be the apt choice.

The mad rom-com with a twist releases in summer 2012.
