The forthcoming film of Maheshbabu ‘Dookudu’ with Samanta playing the female lead is all set to leave for Switzerland on May 10. Presently the shooting is in progress at Padmalaya Studios after a brief lull due to the strike in the Tollywood.

A song would be choreographed and a little talkie part would be shot there. It may be recalled here that the film was earlier shot in Turkey, Gujarat and Hyderabad.

Besides Samanta, Sonia of ‘Happy Days' and 'Vinayakudu’ fame is playing a key role in this flick.

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, the film was produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Thaman is scoring music for the flick. As per the inside sources, Maheshbabu is playing the role of a police informer in this movie.
