Countdown has begun for Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer 'Himmatwala' which is merely 75 odd days away from release.

Since there are three decades that have gone by since Jeetendra was seen in the original 'Himmatwala', one wonders how is the grammar going to change in the film's new version by director Sajid Khan.

"Let me state some facts first", says Sajid, "See, 'Himmatwala' actually started an industry when it hit the screens. There were men like K Bapaiah, K. Raghavendra Rao, Jeetenedra and Kadar Khan who started a trend that lasted for over 10 years.

This is something that you cannot deny. Now what I am doing is that I am keeping all of those things intact that I liked about the film while everything that I think won't work with today's audience is something that I am getting out of the film."

Now one waits to see how the cast and crew too have given their all to the film and made sure that 'Himmatwala' is every bit the hype it has been garnering.

A co-production of Vashu Bhagnani and Siddharth Roy Kapur (of UTV Motion Pictures), 'Himmatwala' also stars Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar & Zarina Wahab, has music by Sajid-Wajid and releases all over on 29th March.
