For Harman Baweja, a sabbatical of close to half a decade was nothing better than a blessing in disguise. Though some around him thought that it was a professional hara-kiri, those in the know-how of Bollywood functioning believed that this was a master stroke no less. Read on to know why!

The fact remains that he had tried a sci-fi romcom (Love Story 2050), a film centered on cricket (Victory) and then a dramedy (What's Your Raashee?). However an out and out action film is something that evaded him. Surprising, since the lanky six feet tall was just cut out for an action hero and his father (Harry Baweja) had quite some notable action movies (Dilwale, Diljale, Qayamat) to his name. Together, the father-son 'jodi' had tried to make a futuristic 'Love Story 2050'.

However, the idea was to now bring back Harman into a film that was much rooted to current times and was hardcore mainstream commercial than experimental.

The first thing that Harman did was to work relentlessly on the kind of physique that established him well into the action zone. Secondly, he worked on his entire body language, mannerisms and facial expressions to come across as a rough-n-tough angry young man. Thirdly, amongst many options that he had, Harman chose 'Dishkiyaoon'. The very title gives an impression of a cunning action film with lots of fun elements to it and once first time director Sanamjit Talwar narrated what was in store, Harman was game for it.

The idea was to bring in a complete turnaround. After all, Harman had been way too soft in each of his films so far, especially 'What's your Raashee'. If there had to be a shift, it had to be a major one at that so that he was seen in an altogether different avtar.

Sources close to the actor say that his comeback is akin to a new hero being launched. Considering the fact that he is only 33 today while John Abraham started his career (Jism) at an age of 31, the actor could well be on way to take a big shot at Bollywood all over again with this Sunil Lulla and Shilpa Shetty production that releases all over on 28th March.
