She is strong headed, passionate and an inspiration for thousands of women out there. Vidya Balan, the woman who requires no supporting adjectives or synonyms because the name itself speaks for it all will be hosting Star Plus Women's Day special initiative 'No More Kamzor'. This women's day the channel will pay tribute to extraordinary women from ordinary backgrounds who fought all odds and came out as brave hearts.

Vidya is often compared to the perfectionist Amir Khan. Just like the superstar the lady of substance has always proved her metal. Be it with the choice of roles by bringing in a new identity to women in a male dominated industry or by portraying the image of a rock solid woman in films like No one Killed Jessice, Kahaani or Paa. With No More Kamzor just like Amir Khan in Satyamev Jayate she too has chosen to talk on issues which are different and has gone ahead and felicitated women achievers who feared none. Vidya too we hear is a thorough perfectionist and chooses to do roles which stand out even if they are few. During the shoots of the show the actress wanted to say the idiom 'Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqder se pehle, khuda bandra se yeh puche bata teri raza kya hai'. However, she couldn't remember the entire para and requested for help on the sets. When the entire phrase was narrated to her within seconds the lady grasped it and recited it in one shot.

Vidya, we always knew the hard worker that you are, but your passion for learning and the mere honesty makes us really proud of having you on board!
