Kavita Radheshyam plays Silk Smitha in Rajinikanth biopic

After getting honored by sandalwood queen Ragini Dwivedi as the next Silk Smitha of south Indian film industry, Kavita Radheshyam will be seen playing the lead role of late sex siren once again in ''Main Hoon Rajinikanth'' which is rumored to be a biopic on Asia's living superstar and cultural icon Rajinikanth. The film is being produced by Mrs. Saroj and it is produced under the banner of Varsha Productions. Faisal Saif is the writer and director of the film and it introduces noted actor from south Adithya Menon and the film also features Aryeman Ramsay. Cinematography by Murzy Pagdiwala, music by Tausif Ali (from Pakistan), art by Mahendra Singh, and editing by Asutosh are the other major credits of the film.

Kavita's recent release Kannada film ''Ragini IPS'' is running to packed houses all over Karnataka and her raunchy song ''Mennasina Kaaee....'' has become the talk of the trade.

Kavita played the role of a desperate housewife in ''Ragini IPS'' and the lead actress Ragini Dwivedi was so impressed by her performance that she openly quoted and tagged her as the next Silk Smitha of Kannada cinema.

En-cashing on her recent Silk Smitha honor or not, Director Faisal Saif said, "We are not trying to en-cash anything from any names. My film is just a tribute in an out and out entertaining way. I always had Kavita Radheshyam on my mind while i was writing the script. Since her Kannada film has been receiving amazing reviews, I promise to show you lots of Kavita Radheshyam style seduction in my film. There are some boldest seduction scenes ever witnessed on Indian screen, But you will also see a totally new Kavita who will make you laugh your lungs out apart from seducing."

Kavita Radheshyam had already worked with Faisal Saif in his last thriller ''5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore'' which was in the Top 10 Bold Films category of 2012 by The Times Of India.
