The first multi star Kannada cinema for power Puneeth Rajakumar ‘Hudugaru’ a remake of ‘Nodigal’ in the third week has cleared the apprehensions. It is going good in the box office and there is steady increase in the growth of collections. This is the kind of film that should run and give new courage for the writers of Karnataka says Raghavendra Rajakumar addressing the success meet at Gold Finch Hotel in Bangalore on Wednesday night.

The first thanks goes to writer of ‘Naadodigal’. The maker with a new theme on friendship deserves compliments informed RR addressing the media. After watching ‘Naadodigal’ in the family at the first instance we decided to make it with Puneeth Rajakumar, Yogish and Srinagara Kitty.

The original was made with all newcomers. Here in Kannada we just trimmed the film by 25 minutes did maintain the crux with variety in the dialogues from Guruprasad.

On the success part of ‘Hudugaru’ RR is happy the collection is equal to ‘Jackie’ in the beginning days. On the issue of remake he stated this is not the first time we are remaking a film. Out of 79 films from our family banner at least 10 are remakes admitted RR.
