The new release from Mohanlal, 'Janakan' will grace the theatres for the eight of April.

The movie which was originally planned to hit the theatres for this first, was postponed for another week. Directed by debutant N R Sanjeev, Suresh Gopi is the hero of this movie which will have Mohanlal in a cameo as advocate Sooryanarayanan, who comes up to rescue Suresh Gopi and his friends who are illegally framed for a murder.

Biju Menon, Harishree Ashokan, Kaveri and Jyothirmayi are also in supporting roles of this movie. ‘Janakan’ will have tough competition from movies like ‘Pappy Appacha’, planned to be on theatres by the Vishu weekend.
