‘Josh’ in full swing!

Waiting for the summer the famous banner of Kannada cinema SV Babu Production house is occupying the cinema halls in April with a youthful, family entertainer cinema ‘Josh’ - the fourth production of humble producer SV. Babu. Producer SV. Babu is producing this film in the name of his son Sanjay Babu.

What is interesting of ‘Josh’ Kannada cinema is that it has taken one and half years to shape up in which eight months was consumed by selection of new cast via talent search. Out of 12000 application SV Productions received 1000 plus were streamlined in which 40 got selected. The whole process of selection and training took eight months. As the three stages of shooting were needed from boys and girls it took some more time to complete shoot for dexterous director of Kannada cinema Shivamani.

Shot in Super 35 MM camera and the whole film undergone Digital intermediate technology. With such news behind SV Productions released the audio album on Monday evening at Green House Raj Milan.

I have become a student of 16 years disclosed director Shivamani who agrees to the point that the film is a dream come true for him and producer SV. Babu. Director Shivamani known for technical excellence in Kannada in the last 16 years of his career says there is a feel, color, entertainment, message for parents and children.

Producer SV Babu in his fourth film production (Honeymoon Express, Thenali Rama, Savi Savi Nenapu) in Kannada said a platform has been given to the new talent who are fresh and bubbling with energy.

Cameraman Santosh Rai Pathaje says this is for the first time a producer has invested so much of time and money for a film with all new faces.

Vardhan the famous key board player of the country has scored the music for five songs in the film. One of the old hits of Kannada cinema Jothe Jotheyali…..is retuned for this film. Kaviraj and Dr.Nagendra Prasad have penned the lyrics.

Popular and disciplined distributor and producer Pal Chandani has taken up the distribution of ‘Josh’ Kannada cinema. Anand Audio Mohan has released the audio album of the film.

The bunch of newcomers in ‘Josh’ Sikkapatte Maja….Swalpa Feeling cinema are – Rakesh, Yashwanth, Chetana, Sneha, Alok, Yagan, Akshay and Amith.

This film is slated for release in the second week of April 2009. A cool cinema in the hot summer says the new artist team of ‘Josh’!
