Ten years ago, Mollywood never displayed any insecurity about its releases, due to the simultaneous release of any Kollywood movie. But a decade after, every equations seemed to have changed a lot at box office.

Now when ever a biggie from Tamil is released in the state, Malayalam films are trying to protect their box office share by trying to shift their releases to further dates. That was what happened when big releases like 'Sivaji' to the recent 'Kuruvi' and 'Dasavatharam' was released in Kerala.

But the makers of ‘Kabadi Kabadi’, a new Malayalam movie, seem to think different as they have presented their movie for a release, on the same day clashing with Rajinikanth's ‘Kuselan’.

‘Kabadi Kabadi' is a comedy entertainer featuring Mukesh and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead supported by Rambha in double roles. Scripted by Shani Khadar, the movie is directed by debutante duo Sudheer- Manu.

The movie has made into forty centers today, half the number of release centers of ‘Kuselan’ in Kerala.
