If you find Karisma Kapoor a tad too real and believable in her 'comeback film' (though she hates to term it as one) 'Dangerous Ishhq' then there is a reason behind that. Apparently there are certain emotional ingredients in the film that reminded her of her own life and incidents that made her tears and heart break all the more believable.

Informs a source connected to the film, "Unfortunately Karisma's life hasn't been a bed of roses over last one decade and there have been quite a few ups and downs involved. This was in fact one of the major reasons why she consented to do the film as she felt emotionally connected to the film. She could bring out the emotions and pathos of the character really well due to certain similarities she found."

Admits Vikram Bhatt, the film's director, "This Karisma Kapoor is someone that you haven't seen before. I always knew that she is a woman who was always very emotionally high. Now while filming 'Dangerous Ishhq', I realised it up, close and personal. Though the film's storyline is far apart from her personal life, the fact that she has gone through quite a few emotional upheaval over the years reflects in her performance."

We would want to see that as well once the film releases all over on 11th May.
