'Theeyavan', that marks the entry of Udhay and Sriranjan, revolves around a negative hero. Sriranjan, son of the producer, handles the negative character.

The young man came into the film world in a dramatic manner. His acting skills in collage cultural programme were received well by many and the reception had triggered the desire to try his hand in films.

His father, who is doing real estate business, encouraged him by started a project on his own to launch his son in film industry. This is the story behind Sriranjan becoming ‘Theeyavan’.

Rajender were close friends and relatives, Silambarasan and Ganesh became friends since their childhood. So, when Ganesh requested Silambarasan to sing a song for the movie, he immediately accepted his friend’s request and sang the song.
