‘Lohithadas Puraskaaram’ for Ranjith

One of the most inspiring debut of last year Ranjith Shankar, has bagged the Lohithadas Puraskaram of the year for the most impressive debutant in direction.

Ranjith, who is basically a computer engineer, was named for his hit thriller ‘Passenger’ which was lapped up by the audience and the critics alike. Megastar Mammootty will handover the award to Ranjith in a ceremony this month, to be held at Chalakudy.

Directors Sibi Malayil and Sundardas from the judgment panel announced the award at a press conference.
