Lakshmi Menon is well on her way in Tamil cinema with her two successes "Sundarapandian" and "Kumki". Her next film is "Manja Pai" in which she pairs up with Vimal. Raj Kiran also plays an important part in the film. "Manja Pai" is to be produced by director Sargunam, whose past films were "Kalavani" and "Vaagai Sooda Vaa". His first production venture under the banner Sargunam Cinemas is to be a romantic comedy with plenty of room for sentiment in it too.

"Manja Pai" will be directed by Sargunam's Assistant Raghavan while the music is to be composed by M Ghibran. The shooting for this film with Vimal, Lakshmi Menon adn Raj Kiran will begin in February and the locations to be concentrated mostly on are Chennai and Pollachi.
