It is down memory lane for cinema audience. The 50 years old B.R.Panthulu’s ‘School Master’ is now picked again as the title for Dr.Vishnuvardhana, Suhasini, Devaraj starring ‘Master’ Kannada film. The title change was made recently by director Dinesh Baboo.

‘School Master’ of B.R.Panthulu (late Shivaji Ganeshan also played a role) is the evergreen cinema in the Kannada film history. In ‘Master’ Kannada film also Dr.Vishnuvardhana is the master in a school and he has his own way of taming the children and parents. In fact it is a modern day ‘School Master’ with lot of innovative thoughts says director Dinesh Baboo.

Dr.Vishnu, director Dinesh Babu and Suhasini trio have given two successful films in the past. ‘Suprabhata’ and ‘Hendthigelthini’ reaped good returns in the box office as well as gathering attention of cinema audience.

What is interesting is that the ‘School Master’ (inspired from Making Way for Tomorrow) remake is ‘E Bandhana’ that was released last year Dr Visnuvardhana starred in that film with Jayaprada and Darshan.

Now this ‘School Master’ is the latest version of ‘Master’ made for Golden Lion Film production. C.R.Manohar is the producer of this film. V.Manohar has scored the music.
