The music of ‘Mynaa’ was launched by Kamal Haasan at a grand function attended by top guns of Tamil film industry at a popular multiplex in Chennai Thursday night.

Speakers at the event, from Kamal to Udhayanidhi Stalin to director Bala to Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan, everyone lauded music composer D Imman for coming out with a riveting score.

“The hero of this function is no doubt Imman. He would scale great heights after the release of this film,” they said, after two songs and a trailer with the theme music were screened.

Bala, in his address, kicked off a controversy on the existence of God, replying to a comment by lyricist Yugabharathy. “Anyone who has brain doesn’t need the help of the God,” he said.

The National Award winning filmmaker was given reply by Kamal and ‘Mynaa’ director Prabhu Solomon in their respective speeches. While Kamal said this is not the right time and right place to discuss the existence of God since the Ayodhya verdict is awaited, Solomon said he has immense faith on the Almighty.

Most of the guests who had attended the function watched ‘Mynaa’ at a special screening earlier in the day. They lauded the efforts of Prabhu Solomon and his team for their efforts to present a quality product, besides appreciating Udhayanidhi and Kalpathi S Aghoram for coming forward to release the film.
