It is a midnight sanction of censor certificate U/A for 14 Reels Entertainment Kannada remake Power ***`. The first film in last 50 days to get censor approval was Power ***` Telugu remake of Dookudu` of Mahesh Babu. 'Power ***' is slated for release on 29th of August at main theatre Santosh in Bangalore.

As the committee is short of members to view the films and give censor certificate and the central government delay really worried 25 plus Kannada films. The intervention of Lahari Velu (holds the audio rights of the film and given triple platinum disc for sale of audio and ringtones) and his contacts with the union ministers has finally moved the files. As a result the 25 members of different walks of field have been nominated as members.

The censor screening of Power***` started at 9 pm on Wednesday and around 1.30 in the midnight the censor cleared the film with three mutes and U/A` certificate.

It is `14 Reels Entertainment Private Limited and Kolla Entertainment film in Kannada by Gopi Anchat, Ram Anchat and Anil Sunkara. The audio was held at Muncipal ground- near old bus stand.

Trisha Krishnan top South Indian actress is opposite power star Puneeth Rajakumar. SS Thaman has done music, AV Krishnakumar is cameraman. MS Ramesh has penned dialogues. Shivaji Prabhu, Kelly Dorji, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Sharat Lohitashva, Shobaraj, Jai Jagadish, Chitra, Doddanna, Adhi Lokesh, Dharma and others are in the cast.

Deepu S Kumar edited the film, Ravi Verma is stunt director, Ganesh, Harsha, Murali and Gayathri Raghuram are choreographers.
