‘Parie’ launched

The one famous song penned by Sudhir Atthavar has got back him 18 long years ago friends in United States of America plus a film for him to direct. That is the song from the film ‘Savaari’ – Marali Mareyaagi….tracing the lyricist the software guys Chandra Sindhogi, Arun Thumati, Ramakrishna Bhat (Washington), MC Gowda (California) Divija K, Mogan Babu and Nityanand came down to make a joint venture.

Sudhir Atthavar accepted the novel ‘Bharadwaja’ by Sri Sampanna Muthalik that won an award at AKKA (America Kannada Koota Association) Sammelana in 2006 and with the help of journalist friend Vijay Baramasagara of Udayavani group prepared the dialogue version and launched the film on Sunday morning at KSLTA Cubbon Park.

The treasure of this film is that well known director MS Sathyu is looking after the art department and still photography is by Nimay Ghosh who worked for veteran like Satyajith Ray in his career.

The film ‘Parie’ with a star cast of Nagakiran, Rakesh, Smitha (Nivedhita) and Harshika Pooncha had a colorful start is all about the illicit liquor and distilleries.

The film is launched in the banner of BDT Abhiyantharara Chitra. The permanent singer in AR Rehman camp Manikyam Vinayagam has lent his voice for a song that is sung by seven playback singers. Ravindra Jain student Veera Samarth is scoring music for this film.

Famous playback singer Usha Uthup is in a guest role with Sathya, Masood Akthar, Vikram Udayakumar, Sharat Lohitashva and others. Ananth Urs is the cameraman.
