‘Rathinirvedham' starts this February

Last year's State Award winner, Shwetha Menon who had been in the news for her controversial posters and role in 'Kayam' is all set to be in more provocative posters and role for the new movie 'Rathinirvedham'. The remake of three decade old classic by Bharathan-Padmarajan duo, with the same name will tell the sexual fantasies and infatuation of an adolescent boy for a beautiful elder women residing in his neighbourhood. Shwetha Menon is in the role of this elder women named Rathi Chechy, which in the original was played to perfection by Jayabharathy.

T K Rajeevkumar who is amidst a number of flops in recent times including the latest 'Oru Naal Varum' with Mohanlal will direct the movie while Suresh Kumar of Revathy Kalamandhir will produce the movie. The same banner had earlier produced the remake of 'Neelathamara' last year which was a hit at the Box Office.

T K Rajeev Kumar is planning to complete the shoot of the movie at places in and around Mavelikkara and Kayamkulam this February, within 25 days of shoot.
