One More Thought Entertainments Pvt Ltd – an RGV production company in collaboration with Z3 Pictures Productions- A Zee company is making a joint venture in to Tollywood with the supernatural thriller 'Raksha'. The movie is directed by debutant Vamsikrishna Akella, starring Jagapati Babu opposite Kalyani in the lead roles. The prominent role which plays a significant part of the story is enacted by baby Neha. A press meet was organized on 15th September to acquaint the director to the Media, at Hotel Grand Kakatiya, Hyderabad.

During this inaugural meet, Jagapatibabu spoke to the media, "the film 'Phoonk' produced by Ram Gopal Varma in Hindi reaped wide accolade and generated huge revenues. This movie 'Raksha' is no remake of the hindi version but adopts the crux of the story that is Black Magic (Chethabadi) . Vamsikrishna Akella has crafted 'Raksha' a suspense thriller which is molded to suit the nativity of Telugu. He has rendered his hard work indefinitely and I am confident about this film reaping success in Telugu."

Debutant director Vamsikrishna Akella said, "Ram Gopal Varma is a legend in the Indian Film Industry. He appreciated my work and is immensely impressed with 'Raksha'. Subbha Raju, Chandra Sekhar, Baby Neha, Master Athulith were also present on this occasion.
