Amritha Art Combines is making all steps to produce a film titled 'Samipulla'. The film would feature Bala, who has acted in movies such as 'Anbu', 'Khadaal Kisukisu', and 'Amma Appa Chellam'. Bala has been part of many Malayalam projects and has made it quite big there.

Karthiga, who shot to fame after the song 'Karuvapayaa….' has been cast as the heroine. 'Samipulla' has another male lead and a debutante Rakshan will perform the role. A pretty faced Mumbai model has also been roped in for the project.

A press release by the producers of the film states that Bala would be presented in an entirely different way as never seen before. 'Thalaivaasal' Vijay, O.A.K. Sundar and many others are part of the cast.

Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction of the film is by debutante director K. Rangarajan. He had worked as an associate of director Chithiraiselvan. Interestingly Chithiraiselvan will be working as ‘Samipulla's’ cinematographer.

Music is by J. K. Selva and lyrics are provided by Thiraivannan and Nandhalala. Super Subarayan handles the stunts part.

The film will go to the floors next month and shooting will take place in Chennai, Madurai and Dindugal.
