First ever delivery of director Sajid Khan, HEYY BABYY, has emerged as a 50 crore superhit just from the domestic market.

The film has completed 50 days at the box office and is currently in it's 9th week. How does Sajid feel? "I was quite confident from the very beginning that I had a winner in hands. It didn't come as a surprise at all when the film opened so well. With HEYY BABYY it was a unique phenomenon - though it was liked by many, the people who didn't like it were those who didn't like me as a person."

Is that really the case? "Yes, of course", informs Sajid, "There are some people out there who have this negative thing about me. I guess they had their minds made up that they didn't 'want' to like my film. However, I know I have more people with me than those who are against. Also, since the film itself was good and each of the actors came up with a superb job, there was no stopping HEYY BABYY."

Sajid is currently working on the script of his next film with Milap Zhaveri. The film is all set to star Akshay Kumar in the lead role again.
