‘Suicide’ real life story

The Kannada film ‘Suicide’ that saw the release of its audio album on last Thursday is the real life story of director and producer Prasad Guru, a still photographer in the Vidyaranyapura Police station of Mysore. Prasad Guru attempted suicide in his life after he lost all his investment on a small scale industry. He wanted to have a fag and as the ashes came down when he completed his cigarette he decided against suicide.

Later he joined the police department and became a photographer. The duty he got to do was taking pictures of suicide cases in Mysore. One of a suicide case of a couple really moved Prasad Guru and that is the content of his film.

He has completed the shoot and left with no bank balance to release the film. Made in a shoe string budget ‘Suicide’ starring Ruthwik and Kalyani in the lead roles, audio was released by famous choreographer of South India, Mugur Sundar.

”The one who attempts suicide is not a human being”, disclosed Mugur Sundar after releasing the audio album.

AT Ravish has scored the music for the two songs in the film. Anand Audio’ Shyam present at the audio release said this is going to be an off beat award film and will get fame for the Anand Audio, he stated.
