Nayantara’s debut Kannada film ‘Super’ is declared a super hit. The film which has a modern day Robin Hood plot has struck a chord with the common people. Starring Upendra, Nayantara and Tulip Joshi. ‘Super’ the film also touches the current and recently gone power politics in Karnataka.

The story is about an NRI who returns to India after a challenge thrown by his lady to leave his riches of London and make a simple living in India. When he returns the bad world of Indian state politics shocks him. He then pays them back with their own coins and then proves India is the best. The story with a lot of twists and turns has brought out the best in Upendra and Nayantara, they say.
