Moser Baer's next is 'Poo' directed by Sasi, the maker of soul stirring movies 'Rojakootam', 'Sollamale' and 'Dishyum'. Co-produced by Nesagee cinemas, a novel 'Veyyilodu Poi' inspired this feature that has Srikanth in a rustic character. The erstwhile movie Rojakootam saw his foray into movies and now this by Sasi again is said to carve a niche for the actor once again.

Director Sasi on an interview with Indiaglitz said," A number of love stories prevails yet 'Poo' showcases the ambivalence of those people which is being narrated on the line of love. A village girl's naive emotions and realities of the rural locales are being told in the most ambient manner. The audience will sure be surprised with Srikanth's presence that is etched differently. Apart from the actor, the movie is comprised of completely new faces amidst whom 'Poo' blossoms."

The title speaks for itself with a story that is made depicting the delicate heart of a soft natured girl who hails from the arid lands of the rural village. Sasi might well be applauded for getting a project on floor with a bunch of newcomers including the debutantes PG Muthiah, the cinematographer and SS Kumaran, the music director.

Another first is Parvathi, a girl from Kerala who gives life to Poo with her performance that might linger for long among the spectators. Her plausible acting skills in the Malayalam 'Notebook' and 'Flash' gained her entry into Tamil cinema.

This month is all set to host the release of most anticipated movies like 'Varanam Ayiram', 'Abhiyum Nanum', 'Thenavattu'. Amidst the biggies that has an impressive star cast, Poo on a completely different genre will sure become a hit for its portrayal of realism, says director Sasi. The movie is slated for a release on the 28th of November.

We wish all the best for director Sasi's dire efforts to succeed with his 'Poo'.
