Former Miss International winner and model Ankita Shorey has replaced Tamannaah Bhatia in the Telugu remake of 'Aashiqui 2'.
Sachin Joshi reprises Aditya Roy Kapoor's character as the lead actor. Tamannaah was asked to reprise Shraddha Kapoor's role, but she reportedly has demanded a huge remuneration. At last Ankita Shorey has got the offer to play Sachin Joshi's love interest in the film.
Sachin Joshi, who will also co-produce the movie, might be happy with Ankita Shorey's inclusion, as he has been not interested in Tamannaah's casting right from the start. He thought that it would be appropriate to rope in a fresh face for heroine's role than a star actress like Tamannaah.
