Popular Telugu actor Sri Hari, called Real Star by his fans died on Wednesday at Mumbai's Leelavathi Hospital. He was 49. He was suffering from lever cancer and other ailments. He went to Mumbai for Rambo Raj Kumar's film shooting and was rushed to Leelavathi Hospital when an unexpected low BP attack occurred. He was pronounced dead at 5 pm in the evening.

Srihari was one of the very few actors from Telangana who became part of tinsel town acting in several movies. Srihari was married to 'Disco' Shanthi. She, however, stopped acting after she got married. They had two sons and daughter but their daughter Akshara dies at the age of four months and Sri Hari started ‘Akshara Foundation’ in her memory.

Srihari will be remembered as the ‘Sher Khan’ Of Telugu Film industry for his portrayal of two powerful roles of the same name in Ram Charan Teja’s films ‘Maga Dheera’ and Toofan. Only last weekend a film titled 'Police game' got released after several postponements. Not only did Srihari act as a hero, he also portrayed villains roles and also character roles.

Several leading actors, producers, directors and small and big technicians who are dear to the late actor have expressed their disbelief and sorrow over the demise of the actor and conveyed their condolences to Shanthi and other family members.
