A scion is born. Tiger Shroff is being launched as a leading man in a Sajid Nadiadwala production and Jackie Shroff is undoubtedly a proud father.

While he has obviously raised him to become a young man who can find his way into the industry, Shroff senior insists that Tiger is entitled to make his own decisions instead of relying on him to pave the way for his career ahead.

"Woh kehte hai naa, jab beta baap ke joote pehenne lage to usse khud decisions lene chahiye.

Same is the case with Tiger as well. He wears my shoes, jeans and other clothes and hence is now free to explore the world himself.

He is a man whose persona is totally different from what I had during my initial days.

There can't be any comparison between the two of us since he is absolutely different. I was someone who was trying to make it into the world of glamour. On the other hand Tiger has also been an athlete and a sportsperson.

He is making his own choices instead of being under my shadow." He is particularly happy about the fact that he can leave it to Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sabbir Khan to mentor his son.

"Sajid is someone who has been around for so many years and knows his job. As for Sabbir, I can see the kind of enthusiasm in him that it is infectious. They will take care of my son", he says.

Meanwhile he is currently taking care of his pivotal part in 'Dhoom 3'.

Though there have been on and off talks of him playing Aamir Khan's mentor in the film, NDA signed by all involved means nothing has been revealed on records so far.

However Jackie is happy that he returns to the Yash Raj Films close to couple of decades after working with them in 'Aaina' (1993).

"Aditya (Chopra) just called me out of the blue and informed that he was considering me for 'Dhoom 3'. They asked me to meet the director (Vijay Krishna Acharya) and hear the part I had to play.

I liked what he had to narrate and immediately said yes; it was as simple as that", smiles Shroff.

Guess Jaggu dada is indeed keeping it all simple here!
