Not 1-of-its-kind album
Monday, December 23, 2013 • Telugu Comments

Released amid huge expectations, the audio of 1-Nenokkadine doesn't disappoint.  An album with intense as well as playful songs, it is a true Sukumar-DSP product, complete with meaningful lyrics.

Special kudos to Chandrabose for giving us some of the memorable lines.

The choice of an eclectic range of singers has helped DSP lend a special feel to his album.

Who are you

Lyricist: Chandrabose
Artist: DSP

The song comes with high lyrical quality.  It is one of the best songs written by Chandrabose in a long time.  Replete with philosophical musings, the song stands out for DSP's energetic vocals.  He has tried to be different conscious of the fact that Mahesh Babu is the protagonist.  DSP scores brownie points by lending an excellent music for this youthful and electrifying number.

Aww Tuzo Mogh Kortha

Lyricist: Chandrabose
Artist: Neha Bhasin

A regular seductress song, the number is to be watched out for Neha Bhasin's refreshing vocals.  DSP has tried to offer something new on the platter and the credit must go to Sukumar for trying to be an SJ Suriyah with Mahesh Babu.  Chandrabose's lyrics come with the usual imaginativeness.

O' Sayonara Sayonara

Lyricist: Chandrabose
Artists: Sooraj, Santhosh, MM Manasi

Chandrabose delivers another song with depth of meaning.  His evocative and touching lines capture the pathos of a lonely lover quite spectacularly.  The vocals are quite impressive and DSP has done a remarkable number.  The instrumentation is true to his style.

You are my love

Lyricist: Chandrabose
Artists: Piyush Kapoor, DSP

The song is on the lines of a pathos-filled number from Arya-2.  Although it is not that innovative, it passes muster specially owing to Piyush Kapoor's vocals.  Chandrabose does a good job, again.  DSP's instrumentation is to be watched out for.

London Babu

Lyricist: Chandrabose
Artist: Priya Hemesh

By now, it is clear that a Sukumar-DSP album with the mandatory item song is unthinkable.  Only that the quality of the item number has only deteriorated since Amalapuram (Arya) and the much vulgar song from Arya-2.  Priya Hemesh's vocals do not make a mark.  Chandrabose is the only saving grace.
