If you fall in love while still in school, you haven't yet understood the realities of life. To drive this point home, the director subjects the viewers to his raw handling of film stock and unskilled story telling technique for 150 minutes. This film is neither for those who have vague memories of their childhood sweethearts or those still in search of one. '10th Class, A Section,' is for those who want to study why films fail.
The three incorrigible mistakes of this film are - bringing the banned ragging to the school level, the protagonist smoking in the empty class room and in school age he drinks alcohol and come before his mother to promise not to drink. The teenage is a fragile age rather than doing showing such scenes in the mass media like cinema is disgusting.
Shivu (Naveen Kumar) and Anjali (Priyanka Chandra) fall in love. They are in the last year of their schooling. Except for the fact that they wear uniforms, the scenes on why they fall in love could have been imposed on characters of any age. Because they were not subject to sex education in school, Anjali gets pregnant when the duo makes it to college. For the record, they make it out in the girl's home. They elope, get married and Shivu becomes responsible. By the grace of the script writer he gets rich quickly. Anjali's death is the unscrupulous message that children should not marry. The overall result is how not to make a movie.
Prithviraj and his sister get screen space for the reason of being the producer's children. The director should put his 'dil' in acquiring more skills in film making and learning English spelling. A film, students will regret bunking classes to watch. Parents however should send their children to watch this so that they keep away from films altogether for some time at least.
The Punaha Punaha.song is melodious from debutant music director Abilash. Cinematography by Haseeb is good when the songs appear on screen.
