The much expected music album of ‘3’ will release on December 23 at the St George School’s grounds in Chennai. And no, Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will not be launching the music disc but the event will be a simple one with a number of performances.

Sun TV is said to have bagged the broadcast rights of this audio launch for a whooping price. It may be mentioned that December 23 will also see the audio launch of Vijay’s forthcoming ‘Nanban’ for which tunes have been set by Harris Jayaraj.

‘3’ has become the hot topic among movie goers what with the worldwide response for ‘Why this kolaveri di…’ and its making. Thus expectations are raving high on this music album, not only from Tamil film patrons but music lovers all over.

We’ll have to wait to know if Anirudh has managed to weave similar magic on the other songs from this album as well...
