Thirty plus Kannada film releases till March 2012 and not even one big hit – top stars Power star Puneeth Rajakumar 'Anna Bond', superstar Upendra's 'Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi', challenging star Darshan 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna', Shivarajakumar 'Shiva', Upendra's 'Godfather', Mammooty first Kannada 'Shikaari', Ganesh 'Romeo', Vijay's 'Bheema Thiradalli' – Ranging from budget of Rs.5 crores to 25 crores are waiting for dates in the coming 50 days.

Three top in budget among seven films are – Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, Anna Bond, Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi.

Power star Puneeth Rajakumar with Priyamani and Nidhi Subbaiaih a home production in Dhuniya Soori direction 'Anna Bond' is releasing surely in middle of April. This is one of the biggest film of Dr Rajakumar empire and investment is expected to touch Rs.10 crores at the time of release.

The biggest of the three top stars is challenging star Darshan's 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' made at a cost of Rs.25 to 30 crores of rupees is a historical film from producer Anand Appugal in Naganna direction. Darshan is teamed with Nikitha Tukral in the film. Dr Jayaprada plays the role of 'Kittur Chennamma'. Around 30 well known faces have acted in this film. This film is

'Katari Veera Surasundarangi' is technically a high graded film because is made in 2D and 3D technology for the first time in the history of Kannada cinema. Ramya the No.1 actress, Ambarish play prominent roles with Upendra in three different shades in 'KVSS' of director Suresh Krissna.
