Mammootty's Kaazhcha App, a big hit

Megastar Mammootty is known for using innovative ideas to do social service. Adding to his works as ambassadors of a dozen social support programs is his latest Android App for 'Kaazhcha 2020' developed to help and support the eye donation campaign.This app developed by Kochi based creative minds has already ensured vision for 14 people in its first week as seven persons has agreed to donate their eyes through the software.

Helmed by Mammootty together with Dr Tony Fernandaz eye hospital and Abudhabi Yeshuva Charitable trust , the programme has already received 3000 applications and has done 110 surgeries till date. Anyone from around the world can propose a needy patient by updating his photo and needed details through the software application.

The rest of the support facilities will be taken care off by Mammootty fans and Welfare association International.The details can also be uploaded by calling 0484-2346445 and patients can avail free treatment at Dr Tony Fernandaz hospital centres at Palarivattam, Aluva, and Kasargodu. The application software was created by Kannur based Shemeem and Kozhikode based Abil Anand.Anyone can receive the service of the application in every android and apple phones.
