Journalist Ranimainthan has done a commendable job with his book titled ‘Sivaji- Chinthanai Muthal Celluloid Varai’. The book, published by a leading publishing house ‘Kizhakku Pathippagam’, brings out a lot of unknown information about the making of the movie.

Though the movie has reached a landmark (Silver Jubilee), there is no much official and reliable information about the film so far. It is in this context Ranimainthan’s book gains importance.

Badri Seshadri, the Managing Director of the publishing house, wanted to release the book by the hero of the movie. Superstar Rajinikanth had honored the request and gave time for the function immediately. He asked the publishers to come to Raghavendra Mandapam on the same day (January 3). The book was released by him in a simple function.

Ranimainthan has written the book after meeting producer AVM Saravanan, director Shankar, and the hero Rajinikanth. He has given a load of amazing information about the movie.

Rajini complemented the author by saying that there were no such books on any other movies. He thanked Ranimainthan for giving this honor to the movie. He has mentioned in an interview published in the book that it might even take another fifteen years to make a film like ‘Sivaji’.
