Actors Karthi and Reema Sen survived a close shave when a herd of wild elephants played havoc in the huge sets erected for shooting of the movie 'Aayirathil Oruvan' at Chalakudy.

On Thursday evening, a herd of wild elephants entered the sets of the movie, directed by Selvaraghavan. They destroyed the sets and ran amock everywhere.

Fortunately none of them were present at that time and almost all the technicians involved in the making of the movie had paced their bags off for the day.

The forest officials were immediately alerted and they rushed to the rescue of the huge set.
