Tension griped the cast and crew of the film Manadodu Mazhaikalam when they were shooting a song sequence featuring Shaam and Arindhum Ariyamalum fame Samiksha at Athirampally waterfalls last week.

Due to the recent rains, the water in the dam was let out and a sudden gush of water took with it Shaam and Samiksha, who were practicing a dance movement in a huge rock near the shore. They held on to a tree and cried for help. The unit rushed to their rescue.

Samiksha is thrilled to recall the incident.'Thank God we had a lucky escape', she said referring to the mishap.

After a couple of hours, the whole unit was back on their job shooting the song all again.
