Karu Palaniappan, who recently won the State award for his debut venture Parthiban Kanavu, will be joining hands with Vishal for his next movie.

Though it was said that he would direct Dhanush for Ashokamithran, the project has been reportedly put on the backburner due to financial constraints being faced by the producer (Salem Chandrasekhar).

Also, Palaniappan's second venture Sadhurangam is still lying in the cans.

Efforts to get the movie released have been going futile.

Palaniappan hopes to turn thing round with his next flick starring Vishal, who is on a high after the decent showing of his last Sandai Kozhi.

Let's hope that he completes the movie and have it released without any hassle.
