A ‘passing’ incident for Asin

Asin had to be hospitalised on Thursday after a gas leak inside her caravan induced attack of breathlessness. Reports said the incident happened in Thirumayam near Karaikkal where the actress was shooting for Tamil film ‘Kaavalkaran’.

Asin was in her vanity van getting ready for her shot. She was with her make-up dada and hair stylist. It all started when a stench emanated in the van. The trio ignored it until the smell became unbearable and the make-up man fainted suffocating. Asin who by then sensed uneasiness immediately ran out of the van.

Sources revealed that it was a gas leak, and there was a dead insect stuck which choked the pipe and gave out the stench. All three of them were quickly taken to a hospital. Unfortunately they were shooting on the outskirts of Kairaikudi and only found a hospital 15kms away. Asin was out of breath, but was constantly inquiring about the makeup man who fainted. All the three are said to be doing fine now.
