‘Kaviperarasu’ Vairamuthu's son Madhan Karky has penned a rap song in chaste Tamil set to tunes by Vidyasagar for the film ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’.

The movie directed by P Raja, a former associate of popular Telugu director Puri Jaganath features Avitej and Trinath in lead roles. Mumbai models Vaishnavi and Parvathi play prominent roles.

Says the director, “the story about four friends is a romantic entertainer. A group of boys and girls are college friends. The boys fall in love with the girls. But there problem is how to confess their love without hurting their friendship. Do the heroes win the heroines over or do they just part as friends is what the climax will tell you.”

The highlight of the movie is Vidyasagar's music for Madhan Karky's lyrics. Says the budding lyricist, “I have penned three songs. The highlight is a rap song that is in chaste Tamil.”

The director also heaped laurels on Vivek, who plays a politician in the film. Vivek's costumes are similar to those donned by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi hit ‘Sarkar,' he informed.

Produced by G Dhanalakshmi, the movie has dialogues by Rajkannan, cinematography by Akash Ashok Kumar and editing by V T Vijayan. The film is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu.
