Ameer's "Aadhi Bhagavan" starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra was supposed to be released on the 24th of January. This movie is yet another much looked forward to combination of Ameer and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Making commercial films were never Ameer's cup of tea, but it seems like this movie is a commercial one, still with Ameer's own flavour nevertheless. This action movie is about a gangster and so has thrilling fight scenes, namely, a gun fight and a street fight which were designed by foreign stunt directors. The additional fact is that director Ameer himself helped design some of these fight sequences. The latest update on this film is that its release is to be sometime in the second week of February and not in January as per earlier plan.
