Aagey Se Right Review

First and foremost, there's a special thing to be announced about `AageY Se Right'. This is one commercial film to hit the screens this weekend with multiple releases. But that doesn't make `Aage Se Right' so blissful to watch. In simple terms, the film is brimmed with interesting storyline, that's quite creative as well. But the screenplay fails to engross us and so does many illogical aspects frequently witnessed over the screens.

The film doesn't boast something alike a ridiculous comedy flick as previous week's `Daddy Cool' or a commendable show as Quick Gun Murugan. This is situational comedy film where the story centers on a cop who loses his gun and goes encountering unexpected ones including a terrorist.

Inspector Dinkar Waghmare (Shreyas Talpade) is on the pursuit of his lost gun. On the hunt, he arrives at wrong places in a disorderly situation and perhaps, unexpected things start rolling over there. Although, he doesn't want to be, things turn him into a SUPERCOP with the help of his fake gun. But everything isn't favorable for this cop as he has to run find the lost real gun that's moving around between many people including a grief-stricken citizen and a girl madly in love.

Hats off to director Indirajith! He has come up with a good story. But a good story in hand doesn't make a film successful. Incisively, the screenplay and many absurd factors diminish the prominence of the top-notching abilities.

The harum-scarum plot fails to invoke humor at points and in many situations; it's more or less boring. Kay Kay Menon has an Urdu-speaking terrorist excels with his part, but his characterization is over-caricatured and illogical as well. Such a stubborn man falling in love with a bar dancer at the first sight will scratch your brains -Oh My God, where's happening here? VJ-turned-actress Shenaz Treasury is not fit for acting. Much particularly she lacks attractive quotients and better can avoid furthermore projects.

As in most of his previous films, Shreyas Talpade spells a laudable performance emoting stupendously on various situations. Vijay Maurya is great as he enunciates his dialogues in South Indian accent. Shruthi Seth is below average. Shiv Pandit doesn't get you intact with his acting.

Getting on with technical aspects, the film has nothing so exceptional to mention about. Both songs and background score fail to capture your attention.

Finally, `Aage Se Right' fails on every note and turns unimpressive. Except Shreyas Talpade and Kay Kay Menon, there's nothing to appreciate about the film.

Verdict: Not worth watching
