Incredible.. As Indian cinema is on the threshold of celebrating its glorious 100 years on 3 rd May 2013. Its most enthusiastic, keen, eager and passionate actor with brains for cinematic creativity and marketing perfection Aamir Khan has completed his 25 years of glory in his career story.. The respected actor whose next move on screen is most awaited then any of the actors of today has come a long way from an actor to an icon and an inspiration.

On his silver jubilee on screen let’s take a look at those golden moments of Aamir Khan on screen..

He came, we saw and later he conquered.. on Jan 01, 1973 Aamir made his first appearance on screen as a child artiste in ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ the year 1973 was significant in Bollywood. The year saw the super iconic Mr. Bachchan’s first entry into stardom with ‘Zanjeer’ and b-town first teenage love story ‘Bobby’ making its debut along with Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

On 1st March 1988 Aamir Khan made his debut as a lead in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.. same year Mr. Bachchan ‘Shahenshah’ was released amidst all protest and rallies against him. It was hell of a time for the superstar Mr. Bachchan as he was under the Bofors scanner.. Big B stardom made ‘Shahenshah’ a hit and Aamir debut ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ became a bigger hit then ‘Shahenshah’... A star was born as Aamir instantly became the ‘‘Shahenshah’ of the young at hearts.

Aamir showed his flair for writing when he joined Robin Bhatt to write the script and screenplay for Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke in 1993. Aamir has now teamed up with Raju Hirani in the writing department of Peekay... the whole industry and the public is eagerly waiting to see what magic the two genius bring out on screen.

Aamir consolidated his instant connection with the urban youth with timeless effect the 1992 released Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar still looks fresh and continues to blossom even today..

Aamir eye for comedy was seen in his previous films but his neck for comedy is incomparable in the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna..

Aamir was tagged by many as an sophisticated urban youth who lacks the ‘mass’ appeal by his contemporaries and critics.. ‘Munna’ in Rangeela made everybody along with his critics shut their mouth as he winningly played the street smart tapori with such élan that it continues to inspire many wannabe.

Aamir added another feather to his cap by singing ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ in Ghulam which became a rage all over. From actor and writer Aamir became a singer.

Aamir made his critics smell his acting powers with a terrific portray of a police chief with a mission in Sarfarosh.. many had the opinion that Aamir’s soft face may not fit in the toughness required for the role but Aamir the ‘perfectionist’ did it again. Now Aamir Khan is not just a star, writer and singer.. Aamir with his brilliance in Sarfarosh became the actor with class and range to look out for..

Lagaan showed the world the creative genius of this actor, writer, singer called Aamir Khan who now turned producer with this 2001 release which wrote its own page of history in the glory books of Indian cinema. Winning 44 awards and an Oscar nomination in the best foreign film category.. Aamir Khan has now made India and Indian cinema proud.

Aamir strive for perfection was unstoppable as he shot to new glories with perfection as Akash Malhotra in Dil Chahta Hai, Daljeet 'DJ' in Rang De Basanti, Sepoy Mangal Pandey in The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey and Rehan Qadri in Fanaa.

Aamir made the world acknowledge his magic of storytelling onscreen by helming a rare cinematic gem "Taare Zameen Par"..

Ghajini proved his smart marketing acumen when he requested the staff of multiplexes chains to follow his look and needless to add everybody was pleased to oblige.

And if Ghajini was not enough then his ‘Rancho’ acts all over India for the promotions of ‘3 Idiots’ made it sure that the movie turns out to be the all times biggest grosser of India.
