Having got to enjoy limelight for brief time with ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ and ‘Dhobi Ghat’, B-town’s blue eyed boy Prateik is very thankful to his two mentors Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao - on courtesy of whom he was offered the two movies in first place.

Being quite close to these eminent personalities, Prateik is keen that he includes them both in whatever professional decision he makes.

Now when his film ‘Issaq’ is coming after such a long gap, Prateik wants to start a fresh and wants to make sure everything goes right. When he got to know that the first trailer of the film will be out soon, he requested the producers to give him a copy of the trailer first to show it to his mentors to take their feedback.

An adaptation of Romeo Juliet set in Banaras, Prateik has put in a lot of effort in this film. He has gone through a lot of physical training and took diction classes to perfect the Banarasi lingo. People who have seen the rushes also believe that the film will have a new Prateik whose career will take off from this film.

Presented by Jayantilal Gada's Pen India Pvt Ltd., Produced by Shailesh R Singh and Dhaval Gada, directed by Manish Tiwary who earlier made ‘Dil Dosti Etc.’, ‘Issaq’ is slated to release in July this year.
