'Aata' all for son!

Over Rs.5 crores investment in the first venture of father Shailendra Babu a well known producer in Kannada cinema to his son Shailendra Babu debut in 'Aata' is filled with lot of confidence. Shailendra Babu is not leaving anything short.

With an interesting story from Shashank, two top films director Vijayakumar of Gejje Nada and Nanda Love Nanditha has done the screenplay. Shailendra Babu giving initial training to his son then decided on making a lovely venture 'Aata' that is at the graphic stage in Chennai. It will be coming before the regional censor in a few days time and likely to hit the silver screen on 11-11-11.

From the days of 'Hosa Jeevana' twenty years ago producer Shailendra Babu is taking on big venture in his career and also giving opportunity to fresh talents. In a film like 'Rangoli' of director PH Vishwanth he has introduced the hero and heroine. Similarly in his latest film he is giving scope for his son to flourish. Training in acting, dancing, action portions Sumanth a graduate in business management has worked hard is the confidence of his father.

Speaking to media persons on Monday afternoon senior producer Shailendra Babu has expressed wish of releasing in prestigious Sagar theatre. He had made an oral agreement with Rajesh of Sagar theatre. I am very particular of Sagar theatre because my earlier films like Kutumba, Gowramma given me success here he says.

Shailendra Babu has spent already 25 percent of his budget on publicity and he is need to invest one crore rupees plus for the print and distribution network. He is not giving the film to anyone. He is going on his own. He has put up trailers in trains, public places, 200 vinyl posters, caught up with autos the common man vehicle, spread 10 lakh Tea cups all over Karnataka. He is not going in for more theatres for 'Aata' release. It will be roughly around 18 theatres in the first round he says with happiness in his expression.
