Well it no joke but true! Abhishek Bachchan has truly reduced his extra kilos for the movie HAPPY NEW YEAR and is looking debonair. What`s more he would also be promoting the movie shirtless to display his six packs like the Khan`s did prior to the release of their movies. Remember Shah Rukh Khan for OM SHANTI OM, Aamir Khan at the release of GHAJINI. Regarding Salman Khan he goes shirtless at the flick of a second.

According reports Abhishek Bachchan has worked rigorously on his weight and his fans can expect to see a new rejuvenated, fit and trim, Abhishek Bachchan in the Farha Khan directed HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Abhishek Bachchan in an interview said, "I was motivated by Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Happy New Year. Even my co-star Sonu Sood, who is health freak, has inspired me to work on my weight and reduce the extra kilos."
He added, "My motivation took wings when Shah Rukh Khan gave me a challenge that if I reduce my weight and got into shape than he would allow me to go shirtless on the world tour. This challenge worked wonders and I have lost around 7-9 kg working rigorously on my strict diet and exercise."
Abhishek Bachchan fans can now expect to see their heartthrob flaunting a shirtless body during promotion of the HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Abhishek Bachchan, despite giving sensational performances in YUVA, SARKAR and GURU has been unfortunate to make it big in Bollywood. Even the recent success of DHOOM 3 did not help him much to give a boost to his fading career. However the actor is keeping his figures crossed and hoping a new lease of life with Shah Rukh Khan`s upcoming movie HAPPY NEW YEAR.
