Actor Abishek, who shot to fame with 'Mogamul' and followed it up with a successful stint on the small screen, wielded the megaphone for 'Kadhai'.

And now even before the movie's release, the actor-director is packing his bags for Hollywood to make its English version. Says Abishek, "Kadhai will be made in Hollywood as 'Prelude'. H2B Studios has come forward to make the English version too and it would be shot entirely in Spain."

"It is a romantic musical thriller that revolves around an award winning writer and his violinist wife. For the first time in Indian films, a particular song in ‘Kadhai’ will feature newcomer Paul J's music. It brings together about sixty musicians eminent in different genres of rendition and renowned the world over," he says.

Briefing us about how H2B has worked things out, Abishek says, "H2B Studios plans to make five movies in South Indian languages every year. ‘Kadhai’ is their first venture. Even before the movie's release, they have teamed up with us again to commence their next project titled Kaiezhuthu".

‘Kadhai’ features software professional Shaan Kumar in the lead role. It is a gripping emotional tale, Abishek says about the film.

Heaping laurels on Shaan, he says, "his performance is truly commendable. It is his maiden film but he just eased himself into the role. That's the reason I chose to repeat him in ‘Kaiezhuthu’ too."
