Ace Producer Vadde Ramesh died of cancer today at KIMS, Hyderabad. He was 65. His son Vadde Naveen was a noted hero in the early 2000's. Ramesh was going thru a treatment for the prolonged illness due to cancer at KIMS but succumbed today to the same.
Vadde Ramesh started his career as a producer with Dasari Narayana Rao and continued his friendship with the legendary director for over three decades. Starting with 'Padavoyi Bharateeyudaa' in the year 1976, together they have produced path breaking films like 'Bobbili Puli' with NTR, 'Vishwanatha Nayakudu' with Krishna, Sivaji Ganeshan and Krishnam Raju, 'Katakatala Rudraiah' with Krishnam Raju and 'Lankeshwarudu' with Chiranjeevi.
Later he produced films with his son Vadde Naveen as the hero 'Love Story 1999', Shatruvu etc. He remade Padmalaya's 1970's superhit Telugu film 'Pandanti Kapuram' into Hindi as 'Sur Sangam' which was a successful one too. He directed one film 'Amma Koduku' starring Raja Sekhar as the hero.
His banner 'Vijaya Madhavi Combines' was a well known name in Telugu audiences names with a high recall value especially in the 70's and 80's. His films will be remembered for the revolutionary traits of heroes which wooed masses with highly emotional dialogues and drama.
